How to Qualify for the SFHip Rebate:

  1. You must be a San Francisco homeowner and a PG&E customer.
  2. You sign up for a home energy assessment and hire a participating contractor in the Energy Upgrade California program (AHE is a participating contractor) to make your home at least 15% more efficient.
  3. You qualify for $1,000 additional energy efficiency rebates through SFHip. 
  4. Once the energy efficiency upgrades are completed on your home, SFHip verifies the work and issues the rebate check.
  5. When you work with AHE we handle all of the rebate paperwork, you just have to sign. This makes the process easy!

The San Francisco Department of Environment recently launched the "Home Improvement and Performance Program" (SFHip). The SFHip program adds $1,000 of extra incentives to the existing.
