Contra Costa County Home Efficiency Rebates

Contra Costa County now offers $5,000 for home energy upgrades. This is along with $4,000 in PG&E energy rebates from Energy Upgrade California.

How the Contra Costa Rebate Works:

Sign up for a home energy assessment that produces a detailed energy efficiency analysis of your home. This determines your home’s baseline for rebate eligibility.
Our home energy consultant will conduct a 3-5 hour assessment to gather data on your home.
Then we provide you with a choice of energy efficiency packages tailored to your individual needs and desires.
Enroll to do the work. We will take care of the rest including doing the energy upgrade work and all the rebate paperwork.

Contra Costa Rebate Program Details

Rebates for energy efficiency are based on energy savings using diagnostic equipment and energy modeling software.
To be eligible, you must choose an upgrade package that achieves a minimum of 20% savings. The greater the energy savings, the greater the rebate.
You also can claim a $500 federal tax credit and the ABAG rebate for a maximum of $11,500 in cash savings
Anything that will permanently lower your energy consumption qualifies for the rebate. The savings are based on your personalized energy savings program. This includes insulation, HVAC upgrades, window replacement and more.
