Energy Auditor Lead

Job Description

Summary

The Energy Auditor (EA) Lead is primarily responsible for conducting in-home energy audits, generating accurate reports and selling the scope of work recommended in the report. 

Responsibilities

This position includes, but is not limited, to the following:

  • Energy Audits
    • Auditing the home, gathering data and entering it into proprietary software and ensuring that all data needed for rebate submission has been collected and entered correctly
    • Generate a report with accurate recommendations and pricing with different work packages
    • Follow-up with client to review report and sell the work scope
    • Review the report and work scope with the Construction Manager or Field Crew in order to disseminate pertinent information affecting the job production
  • Other Tasks
    • CAZ Testing In/Out for production work
    • Assisting the office as needed

Requirements

  • BPI Analyst Certification (or in process)
  • Valid CA driver’s license and clean DMV record for past 5 years
  • Previous success in a sales position or a strong desire to do sales.  A big part of this position is selling the recommended work scope to home owners.
  • Experience conducting in-home testing using Blower door, Duct blower, IR, etc.
  • Ability to do a CAZ test following BPI protocol
  • Experience using Recurve or EnergyPro software
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds or more (must be able to lift a Blower Door fan)
  • Ability and willingness to enter and work in confined spaces such as an attic or crawlspace

Schedule

  • Out team works Mon-Thur from 7:00am – 5:30 pm based out of our Richmond office.
  • These hours will be flexible as needed to meet with sales opportunities.
  • You may be asked to work overtime.

Seeking candidates for Field Crew position. 

Requirements:

  • Strong ability to communicate and interact with clients
  • Extremely professional and responsible
  • Valid CA drivers license without any DUIs in the past 5 years.
  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds
  • Available M-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm
  • Experience or education on energy efficiency is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • General construction work as shown on AHE’s website: www.advancedhomeenergy.com
  • Driving AHE trucks, vans and cars as needed
  • Interfacing with Foreman regarding jobs and tasks
  • Interface with clients during work, follow-up with clients as needed, receiving paperwork and payments.
  • Assess completion of jobs and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Supply office with pictures, test out results, paperwork, receipts, payments, etc. in a timely way
  • Give regular updates to management

Bookkeeper 

Requirements:

Seeking a Bookkeeper with quickbooks experience to manage A/P, A/R, invoicing, payroll, etc. Flexible schedule. Approximately 20 hours per week. Responsible for overseeing 1 employee who will be doing all the data entry.

  • Accounting Experience
  • Experience with AR and AP
  • Computer Literate, especially quickbooks
  • Able to handle invoicing, payroll, etc.
  • Great Communication Skills
